Wildflowers Galore – Trail users in 2007 witnessed an extravagant display of wildflowers near the White Settlement trailhead. Thanks to the benevolence of Lucy Darden, several acres of riverbank were seeded with a mixture of wildflowers and native grasses creating a three-month show beginning with bluebonnets and ending with delicate thistles.
